I made my first Teddy Bear (which we now lovingly refer to as "Frankenbear") in the winter of 1993. I had picked up a magazine with teddy bears on the cover, and didn't realize until I got home that the magazine was full of teddy bear patterns. I had never considered making a stuffed animal before, but decided to give it a try. He was quite a sight, but I was absolutely hooked by the time I'd finished my first bear!

I have been designing my own teddy bears since 1995 and now sell patterns along with my mohair and synthetic teddy bears. My husband and I attend five to six shows a year (the current list of shows is on our web site). We now have our son and daughter-in-law volunteering to do shows for us as well, as they enjoy it as much as we do!

NORA & THOMAS like to spend their time together going for long walks through the park, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature and just being good friends. Nora is 20" tall and Thomas is 24" tall. They both are made of synthetic fur, have sewn-in glass eyes, ultrasuede pads and are fully jointed.

PARSLEY & SAGE have just shared a box of cookies and have very full tummies! They stand 18" tall, are made of mohair and have sewn-in glass eyes, ultrasuede pads and are fully jointed. They are now available as a pattern.
