Lynne Martin has been
designing and making teddy bears for over six years. It started with a passion
for teddy bear collecting which bloomed into a talent for creating
them.
All of Lynne's teddy bears are designed and hand-crafted by Lynne
herself. Sewn with the finest of mohair and fully jointed, each unique teddy
bear has a personality of their own. For Lynne, teddy bear creation is more
than sewing together a pattern. Every bear's design is carefully considered and
hand drawn. The pattern is cut with precision and sewn together with
perfection. The artistry of the teddy bear's face is handled with extreme
delicacy, each eye is carefully placed and the nose meticulously embroidered.
All of Lynne's teddy bears are then adorned with creative accessories
to suit their personalities. From beautifully hand crafted jackets to unique
bows and bells, each bear becomes a work of magic! Bears by Lynne are
collectibles, keepsakes that will endure generations of love.
Exhibiting for the past three years in Calgary's Annual Bear Fair,
Lynne has won first place ribbons for the teddy bears she entered into
competition.
