Lorna has been sewing and knitting since high school days. In 1989, after visiting a few Teddy Bear shops, starting a small collection, and with the encouragement of her sister, Joan Rankin, she made a bear from a pattern in a magazine. It then became an ongoing challenge to make better bears with wonderful faces from her own patterns. Lorna's bears range in size from 3 3/4" to 12".
