| Hi, My name is Jo Ann Klassen and I began sewing
teddy bears about 1995 and I haven't stopped since. Ever since I was
small I made things and I always thought it might be wonderful to make
stuffed animals like the ones in the stores. Well, the animals I make
now are even more wonderful than those in the stores and I'm loving
every minute of it. I work from my home in Calgary, and I sell my bears through a store here in town, at the Bear Fair in Calgary in the fall, and also by word of mouth. I also have a pattern in the catalog of Edinburgh Imports in California. My Creations are sewn from imported mohairs, alpacas, wools, synthetics, leather and ultrasuede, and stuffed with combinations of fiberfil, steel shot and plastic pellets. |
